Productinformatie "Hero Master: An Epic Game of Epic Fails"
Hero Master has been highly acclaimed for it's humorous, accessible theme. In a nostalgically familiar fantasy setting, instead of playing as the bold and the brave, you play as the worst heroes in the land of Snoozehaven. With a desperate desire to leave the awful party you've had to settle for, your only hope lies with a dragon's hoard and the possibility of buying a new group of friends. In the company of such buffoons, expect bungles and mayhem, and with a lack of respect for authority, the heroes will be usurping each other for the position of Party Leader at every turn. The cards in the game feature both endearing art work and a warm anecdotal humour, that has had excellent reviewer feedback in terms of quality and longevity.
Hero Master is a competitive game with high levels of interaction between players. In this game of dysfunctional dungeoneering the party will fight monsters using attack cards and rolling (familiar RPG) D20 dice, and will also be playing their 'bungle' cards to disrupt their fellowship's attacks and end with the biggest share of the gold.
With a struggle for leadership, the Party Leader token (first player token with extra perks) will be stolen, manipulating the turn order and allowing for intricate strategies to occur. Travelling to monster filled locations on their quest to find the dragon's hoard strategic play is key, as players have a limited number of cards per location and must manage their hand to get the best out of their hapless hero and win some treasure (to add more powerful cards to their arsenal).
